But, you're only here to argue with people in bad faith; so I'll leave you to it.

Some people just don't like hearing that the way they have been doing something for 30 years sucks.

I am not here to argue with anybody.

The main difference between you and me about the education topic is that you believe that a outlined step by step process can be applied to value all properties and I think that the steps in the process depend on the assignment.

I would rather have people with good cognitive skills that can apply concepts and theory than somebody with poor cognitive skills that was taught by somebody to follow a process step by step.

Your trainees must love you. "Use your cognitive prowess and apply the theories to understand the client's problem. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! THINK!!!!!! HOW DID YOU PASS THE COGNITIVE APTITUDE TEST!?!!"

The exam itself seems redundant as you must submit a work sample and have it approved to take the test. "It has been determined that you know how to appraise from the work sample you've provided in addition to the over 3,000 hours of experience logged. Now go sit this exam." Exams are used when ascertaining the work product is too cumbersome and is generally viewed as a less than ideal means to gauge aptitude but accepted in certain circumstances.

Truisms for the ages. There is more than one way to skin a cat without getting hair in your teeth....just saying...testing never vetted anyone. Old age and treachery will always triumph over young and skill....who does not know a highly educated person who can't make a peanut butter sandwich?

Where do I mail my ACT score from 20 years ago for my free CG license?

This will be sweet! Almost like becoming a realtor, less the ACT score requirement and all.

Educated does not mean that a person has good cognitive skills. Of course more experience applying those cognitive skills to a subject the better.
