I was hoping to end the week with a soft landing, but such is not the case. My last inspection was
for a brick colonial which was typical in all respects save two. It had a megga inground pool and it
was owned and built by an ornery “Fightin’ Texas Aggie”. He followed me every step of the way
and made sure I had every paper involved since pre-construction. I hate to stereotype, but he was
crewcut, pick-up, bass boat, gun rack and even had a goat roper logo bumper sticker for some
unknown micro-brewery in Houson. There is such a thing as Texas nice and Texas mean.....he was most certainly the latter. He was muttering a lot of numbers which were about 30
grand higher than the number that was bouncing around in my head. I can’t bail out of this one
either, it’s my best client. I’m afraid this one is going to be a bull ride, only I’ll be the bull and Aggie
with the crewcut will be the cowboy. I’m not dodging it, in fact on CD right now I’m playing Robert
Earl Keen’s Fightin’ Texas Aggie. I won’t enjoy the weekend until this one is gridded up and
gone. I just hope Aggie boy doesn’t find out where I live. To be continued.

Keep your head down and your powder dry, grease the axle wheels and if he shows up in the driveway offer him Bucks Ranch hospitality: which as near as I can figger involves nice n friendly  to those that deserve it and rock salt for them that don't  .

Understand clearing the decks of uglies, before turning up the tunes and letting the vacation mood take you someplace else.

May your comps be many and paired sales for that expensive hole in the ground clearly prevail over the goat-ropers head up and locked financial POV.

ROCK SALT?!?

If Bobby dares use rock salt for anything other than making home made ice cream I am going to Texas and take his hat and boots away. And make him pay for supper. Rock salt. Sheesh. Bobby? Do they even let you load a shotgun with non--lethal ammo?
I thought they had some law in Texas against that.

I'm picturin "Jim Carey" state trooper

ifn he shows, turn the bull loose

Did he fly the Aggie Flag on the Lawn?

Clayton Williams, Jr. used to make us do that on his drill rigs. Some might remember him as the guy who got whupped in the election in Texas against the Democrat, Ann Richards, the one that G-Man beat to become Gov. of Texas. Everybody thought Claytie was a shoo-in until he opened his chops.

Bobby:

That's just a typical Aggie..all mouth. :D This is the same attitude that showed up at a A&M/SMU game. The SMU cheerleaders came out on the A&M field to lead the visitors in cheers at the end of half-time. One of the A&M cadets drew his SWORD and proceeded to chase the SMU cheerleaders from the field at sword-point. Seems only A&M students are allowed on the field.

Aggie Boy will not be a happy camper. We were about 25K apart....which is about the cost of the pool......I think the LOs need to come up with a new term for this kind of request.......the refi with PMI/Pool offset. Looks like PMI might still be there. :-)

Lee Ann and Ben I've only been on the receiving end of rock salt....it was when I was a teenager.....fortunately I was 40 yards out of range....I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

trotta he had the Carey eyes for sure.

Terrel he did have an Aggie flag next to the pool....was I supposed to salute it? :-)

Roger you're right....Aggie Boy was all mouth...of course so are Dobermans and Pit Bulls.......I'll be looking over my shoulder for a while anyway......I hope he doesn't pop in JD's Pub and catch me napping....he's bigger, but I know I'm faster. :-)
