Solidifi + Kirchmeyer Merger

Interesting? It might lead someone to believe you are being used as examples of all the QUALIFIED appraisers on their list of appraisers?

Not that any AMC would ever create a list of appraisers to Puff up the number of qualified appraisers on their lists.

:rof:Kirchmyer was "puffing their list" recently..........prior to the Solidifi announcement. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
 
I guess I am not "qualified" enough to do a job for them, since they never called me! ):
 
Solidifi is the only AMC with which I have an appraiser-AMC relationship--and this of several years now. I have yet to communicate with someone at this AMC who was anything but top-notch.

That has been my experience with them as well. Kirchmeyer on the other hand only calls for best fee/turn time quotes.

Same experience for me as well Lee. I was was recently contacted by them because they were adding accounts and wanted to add me to additional panels. Sure they pay well and very few stips.

With that said, if they add lots of stips and try to drop my fee, I will fire them. It's that simple. The sky is not falling and AMCs will not dictate what fee I will accept. I'm turning down more good paying work than I know what to do with.
 
The only Email I've gotten has been the occasional We almost sent you an order thing.
Does highly compensated mean they finally learned the meaning of C&R?
Or did I misread and that referred to the CEO and execs? :peace:

The scuttlebut, per other boards, is that this is a change in direction for Solidifi not Kirchmeyer.
 
....Things may have changed, but back then, Kirchmyer was ordering a ton of 2055's - and refused to upgrade - just kept shopping appraisers until they found one dumb enough to do a 200 acre farm on a 2055. Then there was the old "house and 5" but oh by the way, we won't provide any data for which 5 and also add into the report the value for the entire parcel.

You just reminded me of the last report I did for Kirchmyer - around 2004.
With the report 80% complete, some secretary-type called and insisted that the suburban house on a 1/2 acre lot that we were doing , should be valued as if on 5 acres.
