There was a real boom for rural property to put greenhouses on... That market is a complete bust. And since the IRS does not allow dope growers to deduct ANY expenses, most of these farms are not profitable and as a result are closing. The last farm I saw close was on the market 18 months and the buyer didn't want to operate as a farm.when you can just apply for a license to grow?
Same in OK. Illegal grows are going strong, while the big pot farms sit empty. Very interesting how government involvement in trade creates unintended consequences. There was a real boom for rural property to put greenhouses on... That market is a complete bust. I predicted long ago that soon the USDA would have to subsidize growers, and a round bale of marijuana would sell for $50.Same in OK. Illegal grows are going strong, while the big pot farms sit empty. Very interesting how government involvement in trade creates unintended consequences.
CA was first state to legalize almost 28 years ago. I never agreed or approved of that with many bad consequences. That's exactly why. I thought rec would pass in OK last year but it failed. Bill in TX to legalize rec pot now, but I'm sure the church folks will shoot it down.
FernandaKaren strikes again…CA was first state to legalize almost 28 years ago. I never agreed or approved of that with many bad consequences.
Don't become pot tolerant like in CA.
