Do you feel that the SRA demo alternative weakens the designation or not?

I intend to finish as a personal choice for self improvement.

I will use the new alternative method as I need the classroom-educational setting to stair step goals to achieve very difficult accomlishments such as the SRA. I have adult on-set attention deficit disorder. :)

Lets look at it a little differently. I understand the Demo report path does not require mandatory attendance at AI sponsored classes, but the demo report is still reviewed by AI and upon meeting all other requirements an SRA is awarded.

On the other hand the alternative method is totally controled by AI. Mandatory AI classes and then all experience requirements must be met before the SRA is awarded. During the process advisory level are available and then the final review.

To me the internally controled alternative method in my view is as good as the demo because of all the AI SRA's and MAI's influence upon the associate seeking the designation.

Its just my view. they probably should have offered the alternative a long time ago.

My point of blaming AI for the degradation of the SRA as opposed to licensing. Who else would promote SRA's better then AI itself. I would say they failed or missed the boat or combination of both. Now there trying to catch up on the lost oppurtunities of the past. I received more AI promotional material last year then I did from 1990-2000. Apparently that thought crossed someones mind in the not so distant past considering there promotional efforts now.
