Basically, it seems, to me, to be about what I thought. I don't need to do an actual "appraisal", in terms of the 1004, but still pretty much need to follow all the steps regarding the inspection and data collections, as well as disclosure, to do the 216 accurately.
I conveyed this info to the lender, along with the stipulation of an upfront fee of $325 for the OIS and Rent survey (even though they don't want the rent survey). We'll see if they balk at this. (kind of hope they do)
