State Complaints

I think one reason they go after appraisers is they consider us the weakest leak in this whole process.

I believe the vast majority of us are small shops which in the eyes of a lawyer means easy pray.
I agree that appraisers are generally easy prey, but they generally lack deep pockets, which is an even greater attraction for lawsuits. The sharks tend to go for the deep pockets.

I will defend those that deserve to be defended, and nail those that deserve to be nailed.

Spot on. And I also see Steven's point that the appraisal complaint process is lame because of who ultimately makes the decision and the way they make it.

Getting from the first clause in your sentence to the last is a huge jump over a little bitty comma, I don't think this profession has even considered it yet.

It sure is political, but until the peer review gains momentum and is insulated from the quacks and nepotists (is that a word?) we've got trouble right here in River City.

And Steven, as for forum consistency regarding boards and board complaints, I hear your criticism. Please, bless us with your rendition of the final and workable solution to rein in a profession that has no head and is going pall mall into oblivion. The darned thing is completely out of meaningful remission and appears to be dying a tortuous, tragic and painful death. What would you recommend?
