Florida has mutual recognition agreements for
certified appraisers with 3 states:
Alabama,
Georgia &

- Must hold an equivalent real estate appraiser license in the other state, which was obtained by virtue of completing the education, experience requirements, and have passed that state’s licensing examination.

- Must hold a valid, current and active real estate appraiser license in good standing issued by the real estate appraiser licensing authority from the state from which the applicant is applying.
