Stop Accepting Unreasonable Fees

I don’t think high-quality clients is defined in the law, but it does specifically say non-AMC fees. Obviously. That was the intent of a law.

Your making things up to fit your narrative and need to actually read Dodd Frank. You seem to have a problem accepting what it really says.

You Wanted C& R and believed someone was going to get you high set fee's but instead they gave you nothing.

Not high fees, customary and reasonable fees. So your contention is that to combat the problem of AMC’s and their huge market share manipulating fees they decided to allow those fees to be into the fee studies?

Do you realize that makes no sense ?

It was the final rule that flipped the anti-AMC intent. It was the continued patronage by the GSEs of those lenders which engage that way which has perpetuated it. The GSEs are accepting and reselling these loans to their investors, who also don't seem to care about the amount of the appraiser's end.

Even the last second presumption that was thrown in due to your favorite AMC lobbyists doesn’t allow for the lowest bidder as a method for determining Cand R.

I think there were five or six qualifying factors that AMC needed produce evidence of in determining how they came to their fee. It’s actually a difficult process, whereas presumption two is much more cut and dry. But without enforcement, neither really matters.

keep quoting dodd frank...duly noted

I still can’t believe all those appraisers 20 years ago couldn’t wait to throw their businesses in the trash because it was too hard to tell mortgage brokers no.

I was begging everyone that would listen, all the government and the GSEs do is turn things to ****. And that’s what happened :rof:
