Yes, the folly of this "style" request for something purporting to make appraisal data uniform has to be the definition of cross purpose.
The designers of UAD should have at least been brave enough to introduce as many style types and definitions as there are "F" keys on a full sized keyboard.
My one and only UAD was for a million plus home in an area of mixed styles, so I had a little creative fun. It ended up being a stipulation, of course, even though I explained in the text that the common English for all the styles described like an architect trying to peddle his work or a high healed Realtor chick trying to hogger her latest 7 figure listing, was simply, a two story.
That didn't work. Folks, we have to draw a hard line on this one. We speak MLS dialect around here, from now on & most of that boils down to Story & 1/2, 2 story, 2.5 story, multi-level/split level, split entry, and rambler. Modified two story is a term still used, but it seems to be going away.
