When I ran Total E&O, a new feature appeared— a subjective language warning.

I believe this is due to a recent update:

Freddie Mac Guide – Section 5603.4

Specifically, it highlights the use of unsupported or subjective terms such as high, low, good, bad, fair, poor, strong, weak, rapid, slow, fast, or average without providing analytical support or contextual information.

What alternative words should I use to describe the property and neighborhood? lol

The best, this neighborhood is the best, that is what everyone says.

For the property, at least for mortgage lending using UAD, we have a defined criteria for condition and quality Q 1,2,3,4,5,6 and C1,2,3,4,5,6.

For neighborhood, use specific facts. Instead of, "average distance to employment centers", specify, "employment centers are within a 20 minute commute".

If appraisers were Woke, they wouldn't have this problem.

By 2035, we might have to call a single family residential to a solo occupant domicile or a potentially communal living space, just to ensure no one's feelings get hurt. And for those feeling indecisive, maybe bi-family residential? lol

You still don't get it. What's wrong with "family"?

Nothing's wrong with "family" at least not yet. But with the way things are going, who knows? Just bracing for the next wave of creative terminology
