Subprime percentage by county

There was a county in west TX at 82%!!!!!!!

My county was 32%.

The counties I serve Union 20% & Madison 26%. The lowest county I saw was Geauga at 16%. Great link!

The map was prepared by 2000 Census and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council. Contact them regarding the data used to prepare the map.

I believe they are showing percentage of loans vs dollar amount of those loans. We had a ton of HELOCs recorded with sub-prime lenders however the dollar amount of those loans are only a small precentage of the county total.

My county is 14%. I guess there aren't too many subprime vacation homes around here.

Could it be a lot of LOs and MBs took people for A paper to subprime when they did a refi. More money in thier pocket.
