I've got some sort of virus that's changed all my settings (printers, drivers, internet bookmarks, e-mail settings, etc.). If I use a System Restore to a previous date, will I lose all the appraisal files I've created since then, or will it only restore those settings?

David you do not lose saved files when you do a system restore.

Mr. Roberson,

You need help. Do NOT use the Microsoft System Restore until you have removed that virus. This includes determining that System Restore will not return registry settings that will reinstall the virus.

Webbed.
