Is it possible to sync both an android tablet and phone to Total Mobile. Its easier to sketch on the tablet, but the photos are easier with the phone. using the table for comp photos is not the easiest and the tablet doesnt have a flash, so taking photos in the attic, crawl space and dark rooms is not going to work.

I use a Samsung Tab 9 and it has a flash.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and I have the same lighting problem as the OP. I'm interested in getting a tablet with a flash like yours. Could you be more specific on the model you have? I googled Samsung Tab 9, but nothing came up. TIA

When I was using an iPad Mini I had a cheap video light attached with velcro. Worked great. https://appraisersforum.com/forums/...er-for-mobile-appraising.221958/#post-2883748

However, I have since downsized to an iPhone 11; the wide-angle lens is fantastic for photos, and even an old guy like me has no problem sketching (although it did take a little getting used to!).

Edit: Current setup is an iPhone 11 with neck loop and attached stylus (due to fat fingers); Disto on a retractable reel attached to my belt loop. Couldn't drop anything if I tried!

Good luck!

Point & Click camera, always leery of dropping the phone; $900-1,000 for the phone....$200-$400 camera, 2 for 1 always works for me.

I sync the I Phone with the Ipad so if you want to use the phone for comp photos and the ipad for the inspection, no problem. My eye sight is not getting any better and my fingers are not getting any thinner so i recently switch from the Iphone to the ipad for the inspections, should have done it years ago.

Yes you can. I have my phone and tablet synced. Actually even have older tablets and phones that are still synced. There is no limit that I know of. Only for desktop total.

Sorry, it is a Galaxy Tab S3. You can find them on ebay. I recently purchased a 2nd one for $250.

I just got the new tabs7+. Huge.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7-Inch, 32GB Tablet was good, my old tablet.

Some Samsung's have flashes some do not.

I took my old tablet out and it looked brand new. I have dropped it, etc. I did have to modify.

Also take a look at my pics. I added a low profile clipboard that clips to vinyl sided homes, and I can lay it on the ground if need be. I use a pearl or a white one, easier to see.

click to expand. makes taking pics and measuring so much easier. I often use the case for a target. Use Velcro.
