Tablet recommendation with AR Glasses

Good afternoon All,
Now that most electronics are on sale with Prime, I am thinking about making a tablet purchase to utilize with the UAD 3.6
I was hoping I could get a recommendation for a tablet that will work with our current software and perhaps function sufficiently with AR glasses. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with this?

Here is the criteria I used when looking a few months back:

"The 11-inch iPad Pro models featuring both a LiDAR scanner and a wide-angle camera (along with an ultra-wide camera) include the 2nd Generation (2020), 3rd Generation (2021, M1), 4th Generation (2022, M2), and 5th/6th Generation (2024, M4) models. These models introduced advanced depth-sensing for AR and improved photography capabilities."

You will have to ask the iPad experts for the blow-by-blow, but apparently, the wide-angle camera feature has not been included after the M$ version. I purchased a 4th Generation (2022,M2) from Sam's Club, new, for $500. I see them now at Back Market and Swappa for about that price used/refurbished, but don't see any new ones available.

You will probably get a better sale in November. These companies have extended black Friday to black October and black November.

I will try to give LiDAR another shot. I have used it a few time and found my laser to be substantially more efficient. Thanks for the detailed answer.

I don't expect to rely on LiDAR apps any time soon for measurements that matter, but it appears to be a cheap and easy way to generate a decent floor plan that can add value in a report and provide a check for manual measurements. I will still measure the outside with my laser and the tablet sketch program.
