TAF and HUD make a deal...PAREA providers win

From what I gather, they weren't "progressing" so they were dumped. What that means is one of many Appraisal Institute secrets and we'll never know.
Maybe they were too slow and not profitable enough. I guess they don't want the first crop to be failures also. Maybe after it gets rolling they can just push everyone through.

That was a hope early on, and part of the sell to the BoD. But here we are, more have failed out than completed the course, many more. Think Club 80 real estate agent numbers.
I would anticipate some growing pains with the program, and that they'll refine it's content and delivery as they go. The pass rate for the course may never exceed a certain point, though. Not everyone who wants to be an appraiser has what it takes to get there. There's nothing about that which would be specific to this course.

Cumulative pass rates not exceeding 50% or 55% have been common in the past for some of the AIs QE courses. I don't know, but that may still be the case.
