Tariffs Dooms America to High Inflation

Nothing's free except subsidies to Soy farmers.
Free Covid money contributed to inflation.
Free (as if anything is) COVID money contributed to inflation only because the feds borrowed money from the Treasury by selling bonds and expanding the money supply with newly minted dollars chasing demand with little supply. Works every time it's tried, Keynesian brillance meets Modern Monetary Theory for an epic crash and burn.

Can we at least agree inflation isn’t going down as Trump promised before the election, or do you have an excuse for that, too.
Just went to Costco today.....my Lord...everything is through the roof. I hear that inflation is going down, but I don't see it.

WTF! 120k for furniture?

Hey Terrel......how many acres of land can you get over there for that?
Dude, it's modern America, Holly Hunt lounge chairs are $6k a piece. We aren't talking Costco/Wayfair/Ashley Trashly landfill cardboard chit. Handmade with loving care and the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in.

And all of that fancy, expensive furniture eventually will go to an auction and sell for pennies on the dollar. Might as well buy Ikea and throw it away when you're done with it.

As far as the light fixture...you should have gone all out and bought a Chihuly.

In the end, we are all just renters, we really don't own anything.

Last night I went to my favorite restaurant near the airport.
Usually crowded but that night had many empty tables.
When I got the menu, the prices have gone up more than 10%, less entrees, and no more daily specials (hoping for the Prime Rib special on Sunday).
When we go entrees, we were disappointed. Soup was cold and the portions got much smaller.
I can see why there are less customers in there. Has inflation from Trump caused them to cut corners? It is hard to run a restaurant now.
We won't be going back.
