Hey foks,

Im doing my first FHA purchase appraisal in a long time. In the "old" days we had to review and I think even include the TDS in the appraisal package. do we still have to review?

thanks,

bob

If I do not get the TDS with the purchase contract I condition the report on having a signed copy provided to me. As you probably know, some sales are exempt from the State law that mandates a TDS.

Well said, you want to review both. The TDS may point out items for FHA that may need to be corrected. For example a roof or plumbing problem you may have not seen.
