Teaching Real Estate To High School Students

Now Kate....cut the guy some slack. If a person doesn't have teens around they wouldn't know. ;) B)

My teenagers are now homeschooled due to going to the high schools here in Milwaukee.. I can't believe tax payers in general pay for this type of education. I am appalled at the schools now a days. Your kids learn how to be gang bangers in Big Cities now. The staff can not control the kids anymore because of the rules and the kids know the rules therefore push the teachers over the edge now. I Decided for my kids to get EDUCATION they had to get it here at home. =/

I'm a part-time teacher. Depends on the area, of course, but 10th graders are getting business education now. We didn't when I was in high school.

I've had 4 kids graduate from the public high schools here in the last 8 years, and I would definitely not categorize any of them or their friends to be any more mature than the kids from 10 years ago or 20 years ago or 30 years ago; nor would I say they're better educated. I would say they're a lot more sophisticated in some ways as a result of their wider exposure to the world via the media. However, I haven't decided if the upsides of learning diversity and seeing a bigger world are worth the downsides of learning that a girl can't live without Gucci and Manolo in her closet and a guy can't live without a baller Escalade on 26"s.

FTR, there are no Escalades or Gucci's in my family - we surf.
