That's It! I Have Had It With Lenders.

"I, along with no doubt, a lot of other posters on the board appreciate your passion for the biz. But, guy, you gotta calm down. Have you checked your BP lately? My advice, stop cutting the pill in half and take the WHOLE prozac!"

Second time this week I've attacked an idea & been attacked in turn by a poster. What is this...Survivor...AF version?

I offer viable alternatives to working with MB's. I don't like organizations that don't represent their membership. I don't agree with anyone all the time, and don't disagree with anyone all the time--others fall within that range (occasional self-appointed non-appraiser entrepreneur aside).

If that in some way offends you...it won't take much of an imagination to conjure up an idea of what you can do with the other half of the pill.

Have a weekend,

-Mike

Mike, don't get your feathers ruffled. It seems that nobody is immune to having a difference of opinion.

Mike, I've read most of your posts and have even asked you several times what you're viable aleternatives are. I have not been able to find your responses, with the exception of selling real estate. What type of appraisal work do you do that you no longer need to appraise for MB's.

*I did read one of your posts mentioning an altercation with an MB recently, so I guess you still do some MB work.

I am trying to shed AMC's like eappraiseit, valuit and landsafe as well as the PITA type MB's. Got a couple of good banks, a few attorneys and some long time lenders who are reasonable to work with.

NOPE! Not once this year. I have completed 4 assignments for AMC's this year (MB was calling to order an appraisal on a property I'd recently appraised for an AMC). While some AMC's can be a pain...they're currently less of a pain than working with MB's in my book (this hasn't always been my view). And the money I earn from these occasional assignments goes into a vacation fund.

I've answered this question so many times I've lost count...thought I answered this for you via PM...guess not. For those I have answered in the past--I've received nothing but thanks & positive feedback. However, due to recent experiences...I'm no longer willing to share specifics.

If you or anyone else wants VIABLE alternatives to MB work...there's tons of ideas in the archives. There are many here who don't work with MB's & they've contributed alot ( :P ) over the years. You can always start another thread; "Looking for viable alternatives to MB appraising."
