Take a look at this website - it tracks the lies told by the NAR's chief economist...it is just truly amazing that an organization that claims to be concerned with ethics would have a chief economist that spews this b.s.

I just thought that I would share just one nugget from the site that shows the complete b.s. that this clown is spewing....it is just truly amazing:

Is This Guy for Real?

A Powerpoint Slide from a Recent Real Estate Presentation
by Lawrence Yun in June 08

Is this guy for real? Calling a few large cities in the US 'Superstar Cities Defy Gravity' when it comes to housing prices in the next five years. Mr. Yun has lost credibility and is obviously a paid spinning shill. The Realtors should fire him as he has lost his credibilty.

If you are located in any of the Superstar Cities, you had better tie yourself down, as the increase in home prices in these cities over the next 5 years will defy gravity!!!

RE, Dallas. 25% gain over 5 years. That's only 5% per year. However, market has been essentially 2-3% when everyone else was jumping 40% per year. Maybe in the enclaves of Highland Park/University Park. Not in real life.

Had a broker call me wanting to know if I had any buyers interested in a 4000 SF custom home he was auctioning off tonight. New builder home, appraised at $406,000. He figured the low $300's. Local builders are taking it on the chin, very little sales activity. I figure our prices are retreating back to 2001. So, after 5 years, we may be back to 2004 price levels, realistically.

From Yun's chart: "99% of markets will have higher values in 5 years than today"

From Mike Shields: "100% of markets will have higher values in the year 2257 than today." (Is this guy sharp or what?)
