The word "duplex"

Locally we refer to a side-by-side as a double and an up and down as a duplex.

Duplex - 2 units, 1 parcel
Triplex - 3 units, 1 parcel

Townhome is 1 unit with each having a parcel, typically attached but can be detached

Condo is 1 unit each having a parcel, typically attached.
