The appraisersforum.com Appraisers Petition now has 6894 signatures. 106 more will make an even 7,000.

What can and will YOU do to help reach 7,000? Would you email The Petition to every person you have an email address for (appraiser or not)?

Would you FAX The Petiton to everyone you have a FAX # for?

Would you take the time to look up the website for your State Legislature and email The Petition to all of the elected officials in your state?

Would you find the email address for YOUR Senators and Representatives in Washington, DC and get it to them?

Someone on here posted that The Petition has done no good! Baloney!
There has been more press, legislation, awareness and disdussion of appraisal issues in the last year than ever before. I have spoken to scores of non-appraisers who have seen (and some signed) The Petition and are aware of our concerns. I have talked to reporters, legislators, regulators, lawyers, lenders, real estate agents, home inspectors, contractors, bank presidents, government officials........who have seen The Petiton. The Petition has a life of it's own and continues to get our message across.

The Petition is a huge success. The success is only limited by what we are willing to do to get more signatures and get more people aware of our concerns.

Have you done all you can do?

Bob,
I agree that the petition has accomplished more than most would believe. Having read through the names several times though, I appears that many signers have inadvertently signed twice. Is it possible, or ethical for someone to clean up the duplicates so that it appears more professional and complete? I personally continue to refer everyone I can to view and sign.

I have no clue! Wayne has control over The Petition...all I did was sign it myself.

I have noticed some duplicates...but that is true of nearly any large petition.

Shouldn't this be on the political forum?

We'll leave it here for now and move it later.

Don't forget to have the HONEST Realtors & Mortgage LOAN Officers sign it this affects them too
