The hero on the Frontline program was the Christian pastor guy who understands the poverty conditions driving them to gang and violence but also at same time denouncing inhuman killing and treatment of those "criminals" by the government. I can understand why some want to get out of their chaotic country and come to "less chaotic" America.

I understand. I have appraised many places of worship in Memphis area. Many of these young people see no way out. I have met some of the best people in the world in the ghetto.

No doubt. I can't tell you how many houses I appraised for GSEs where mortgage fraud occurred in the ghetto. It was a ton on liquidation in the ghetto. More than I want to remember. I was on FNMA list to do them.

My whole workload from mortgage fraud was working for FNMA on foreclosures.

Ghettos are getting less in SF. Because of high home prices, gentrification have made certain areas more desirable.
However worst part of town is the Tenderloin where the poorest, homeless, and druggies hang out. That area has been depressed for over 50 years as long as I can remember and still no one wants to go there if not need to go.
