Time Needed

I know this is a general question and there may not be a solid answer, but in general, what type of timeframes are you folks seeing to get a residential appraisal completed? Is it possibel to complete 8-10 a week, giev a 10 hour work day?

I'm in a rural area, and generally do 1 per day, definately no more than 2 per day. I wanna make some money for living, not live for making money.

It's possible but I would worry about the quality of the work.

If you are constantly on the road working ten hour days how will you deal with problems with completed reports, requests for additional comps, unanswered phone calls, broken printers etc.

I agree...2 will be stretching it...But my wife is going to give me a ahand wilth all the odds and ends. I tik we can do it..... maybe not early on, but in time.

No reason a young energetic go getter appraiser willing to work 10 ~ 12 hours a day, seven days a week can't do 12 appraisals a week...especially with a helper. Just be sure you have good health insurance, a large paid up life insurance policy, and a well drawn will.
