Tiny Drop-down Dialogue Boxes; too small to see

Seems that all of the ACI drop-down dialogue boxes, e.g., Condition of Improvements, Add/Remove Forms, etc., etc., etc., are so small that it is a stretch for these aging eyes to see. I can't think of any reason that the boxes wouldn't be larger, especially because the user never/ever needs to see the form page in the background when using a dialogue box of any kind.

Does the program allow for a change in Font size?

ACI tech support advised how to increase the size of the box manually with an arrow on the bottom-right-hand-corner, although the font size can't be increased. I considered a MSWord template that could be copy/pasted into the ACI dialogue boxes but that's an additional step that shouldn't be necessary.

I used ACI exclusively back in the 90's and several of my former partners are still using it today. In my experience ACI software is designed by non-appraisal techies for use by non-techie appraisers. I ended up setting up templates for nearly every section of the report that needed more than a two or three word explanation and just entered "see addendum" in the report itself. I then had several addendum pages with comments and more detailed explanations. Brevity has never been one of my strong suits, but in all my years of being an independent appraiser I have had maybe a handful of clients contact we and request more information or further clarification.

KHS445. Your comments got me thinking. Perhaps I will just create a single MSWord document that replicates the entire ACI multi-page spill-over addendum, to keep from scrolling from the main form to the narrative, and back-again, one hundred times. The single addendum narrative page can be created outside of ACI and then copy/pasted into the Beginning Addendum to appear as though each of the spill-over sections literally spill-over. Hmmmmmm.

Two cataract surgeries and one victrectomy surgery last year. Left eye 20/20. Right eye a complete blur.

Sorry to hear about your right eye....
Can the blurriness be corrected?

I think not. I can survive as long as I don't lose all 3 pair of prescription computer glasses that I stocked up on to ensure that I know where at least one pair is located at all times. Life goes on (and on and on).
