My Total is frozen. Can't type anything. I was about to save and ready to send.
The internet is working fine.
I'm afraid if I close, I will lose what I worked on.
Any suggestions? Otherwise, I have to reboot.

I'll wait 5 more minutes before I reboot computer.
Report needs to be sent.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to reboot. Fortunately, every entry you recently typed will be available in the recent response drop down box associated with that field and you can go to the timeline menu to recover your work as well. Shouldn't be a major disaster. But reboot first, once total gets "frozen" I've never been able to "unfreeze" it. Simply closing it out in "task manager" still leaves the memory corrupted for some reason.

yeah, you'll be fine likely. It probably already saved what you had before it froze. Total saves way more frequently than it used to. I would call them and they can log in on your computer and see if something might have caused it to freeze. Is total up to date. Is your computer up to date on it's updates. Have you restarted your computer lately? What else was running in background when it froze?

I only lost not too much data so wasn't too bad. Glad Total automatically saves.

Call them tomorrow and see if you can change how often it saves and if anything running in background might have caused it. Sometimes, it can be something simple like not restarting your computer often enough.
