Since Scan to Sketch has been out for a while, what are some thoughts on it from any current users?

1. Does it seem accurate compared to the regular total mobile sketcher with a disto?

2. Is it worth switching from an Android to Iphone in order to utilize it?

1. It does work for a simple cookie cutter house. I've tried several times but didn't work out for a custom built house. In other words, it took longer than a laser.

2. If you can, borrow Ipad pro (only pro model has LADAR sensor) from your friends or family and try it first before spend over $1,000.

Things like gutters and bushes are a problem. Anything against the house that effects the scanning. The laser is just more accurate.

I don't use it for the entire house, just one or two walls that are difficult to measure due to bushes, etc. For what I use it for, its great

For $1000 a year I'll pay my kid to follow me around with a tape measure!
