I have been working part time as a Non-Licensed Trainee in the State of Virginia.

I need to find a correspondence or on line format for my required hours prior to registration for testing.

Does anyone know if there are on-line classes available and if so can you send me their link?

Thanks

Joe

Your state board should have a published list of acceptable courses. Many states do not allow distance learning.

I would suggest that you attend a class rather than take an on-line course. I believe that the interaction with other students and the instructors is very important in a basic course.

The online courses may be convenient to complete the course work hours, but they will not prepare you to do appraisals. If you want to maximize your learning opportunities during the course work, then consider a classroom course where they talk about relevant subjects and provide some hands on experience.

If you're preparing for the state exam, i suggest one of the "how to pass the state exam" books which are available at numerous appraisal related web sites.

Hint: If you've been working as a Trainee and are not familiar with the state approved course list, then you probably have many other opportunities to increase your knowledge. Take advantage of them.

cheers.
