I just got an assignment that I have not yet accepted. They want me to be TRID compliant. Isn't that a lender issue, Truth in Lending.... Or am I missing something?

They don't want you to up your fee;.

That messes up their TRID and they have to start over again. They are protecting their profit, by asking you to do anything extra complicated for no additional charge.

And we thought mortgage brokers were out of the loop.

I called the client and she knew immediately why I was on the phone. Says the TRID requirement was nothing I wasn't already doing.
