Trump says U.S. to ban large investors from buying homes

Remember what David Stockman (former OMB director) said during an interview shortly after he left the Reagan administration? He said "the main problem with my party is that they always think everyday is a great day for a tax cut".
And you think strangling the chicken is going to produce more eggs. Silly

And you don't think David Stockman understood "supply-side economics"? That's silly.
I'm sure he did, but what he was referring to was the dichotomy between deficit spending to produce growth and reducing the tax burden on the private sector simultaneously. Know your history, counselor.

No, he wasn't.

No, he wasn't.
Yes, he was. I don't know what he said in 2013 because you are too cheap-*** to provide a fee-free copy of the Atlantic article, but I can guess. Missing is criticism of numerous examples of moronic federal spending, think shrimp on treadmills and other brilliant examples of the National Institutes of Health use of taxpayer funds. He is right about the debt; let's cut the $500 billion in **** off money the Treasury estimates we waste every year, then see where we are.

But my tenants love me. One said "We're blessed to have you as our landlord."
Another tenant every year sends me a Xmas card.
Am I charging my rents too low?

I dunno, but I'm pretty sure your tenants are "Plumb Loco"

Stockman, who was President Ronald Reagan's budget director, has been a long-standing critic of his own party's economic policies for several key reasons:

Irresponsible Tax Policy: He argues that the modern GOP has taken its anti-tax campaign too far, advocating for tax cuts for the wealthy without corresponding spending cuts, which he calls "foolish" and "irresponsible" given the trillion-dollar deficits. He believes "taxes are the price we pay for civilization" and that higher earners should pay more.
