Anyone tried Tune Up Utilities 2003? Tune-up.net
My brother down loaded it, and it seems to REALLY help with the processing speed, as well as cleaning out hidden registries, and remaining parts of old programs uninstalled...... but that still have bits and bytes left behind.
Despite seeing it work well on his computer, I am always skeptical about things that mess with my ’puter.

Be sure to have a full back up just in case. Even 'good' programs can crash a system.

This is experience speaking!

I like using MemTurbo for recovering RAM.

I downloaded the demo version which is good for 30 days. Tried a few of the tools cautiously and did not get hurt.

It appears to be a well designed program with a lot of functions. I am going slowly with it though because I have used programs in the past that are too aggressive in their registry and program cleaning and had problems.

Jeff's advice to back up first is a very good idea.

David, I down loaded it too. Had no major problems, and it did help a bit. However, it did mess with Corel Word Perfect Thezaursez/spezel cheker. So I re-loaded the registries using the "Rescue" feature without a hitch.
