UAD 3.6 Can't clone old appraisal a la mode

I admit that with cloning, I forget to change some items but usually "minor" and won't change appraised value.
However after decades in cloning, I am better able to find the needed changes so less "typo" errors.
GSEs prefer appraisers to start with new form each time but cloning is faster for appraisers.

Each software is different. Those of us who use SFREP know that you can selectively import specific sections or pages of any prior report into a new report which isn’t cloning. I’m all but certain the Abomination 3.6 will severely restrict or prohibit transferring data from prior reports. The notables have told numerous lies about the 3.6, does anyone believe they’re suddenly going to begin telling the truth?

From what I understand of UAD 3.6, we can clone templates of a single family or a condo, but we STILL will always, on every new report, use the drop-down overlays, which are cloud-based/internet-based over the template. The drop-down overlays might need to be filled out from scratch, regardless of a template. This might not be solvable by any software company if there is a fundamental incompatibility in importing saved comments into the drop-down overlays. Plus the overlay checkboxes, all ten thousand of them ( kidding, sort of ), must be done manually.

.

I haven't tried it yet. Copy and paste might work. I am not sure. Will it with it being cloud based?

I have ALAMODE, and we can also import comments onto a new report, which is not cloning.

seems like the problems with UAD 3.6 is not ALAMODE-specific.

So, you can't take a property you pervious appraised and clone it to the new UAD 3.6 even if it's the same address. Every single appraisal completed in the past I can't clone to have one sentence or picture in the new UAD 3.6 appraisal. Sucks! I'm done!
don't know about the other softwares yet, but AIVRE does have a 'Template' feature.

Just because it has a template feature does not mean one can import saved comments into the UAD 3.6 drop-down overlays!

ALAMODE has a template feature as well, and I asked tech support about it - their template can be used with UAD 3.6.

However, a template does not solve the overlay problems - regardless of software, perhaps despite the promises from the newbies.

Sounds like you can't start with template self created? Am I off? Where is @DWiley?

Can you copy and paste?

Alamode owner would have answered before he sold to Corelogic. Corelogic has the largest market share of appraisal software companies.
