I do not do ANY AMC work, except for one captive order run by their owner lender, which pays well for complex orders.

If appraisers raise their fees the AMC's will have to pay the higher fees - simple as that - difficult as it is to do if one is strapped for cash but one will always be strapped for cash if the AMC;s keep sending out lower and lower paid work and getting takers.

Grok actually answers questions about the “abomination” and even uses the word in answers. While Grok doesn’t totally agree it’s an abomination yet, the word is part of the discussion.
