Sorry, but that's not our problem. They can override that and they will push it through. We have requirements (
UAD Field-Specific Standardization Requirements ) that we are to follow, which state:
"The appraiser must enter the physical property address in a format that conforms to the United States Postal Service
In fact, the orig UAD specs were updated to say "physical property address" from "an address" because people were using the postal address and not the actual physical address.
OK, but I disagree (let the bashing start from the poster(s) have nothing else to offer). I am just suggesting to the OP they may want to try it the right way. Its not about just filling in a form for an UW. The UAD was created to have the same standards in each section of the report. I am suggesting that if the OP uses the exact address as per USPS (and I should have added this part to my original post but I just assumed all appraisers used addendums) the report will NOT fail due to an address issue. You are telling the OP to use the name or number of a property because its nailed to the house and the have the lender "push it through" (you will be getting stipped on that).
I am just saying... I will continue to do it the right way, not to please the UW but because of why it was created.
