The V.A. is pretty strong about our appraisal files not exceeding 2000KB

My scanner is set to 400 DPI S.Fine, dark, text, which is my scanner's maximum, but all my scanned documents/maps are still fuzzy. I experimented with lower dpi for the scanned documents but it didn't affect the size of the report much. So then I started playing around with the color/grayscale image setting and it started making dramatic changes in file size. I have Adobe Acrobat Writer 3, when I eventually buy the NOVA 32 bit program, it will include the 5 version. Take a huge file that you have sent a client, note the size as a pdf file. Then play around with the different settings in Adobe Acrobat Writer until you get a product that you like the printed report and note the size of the .pdf file.
