For REOs that FNMA owns, Fannie -in her wizzdom- requires the 2005 version of the URAR for their appraisals.......I'd be interested to hear more from our folks doing lots of REO work these days. Anyone else successful in getting the old URAR accepted?
Pre-Printed:
"The intended use of this appraisal report is for the lender/client to evaluate the property that is the subject of this appraisal for a mortgage finance transaction."
I use a disclaimer -noting specifically that REO is the intended use;
Still REO work can easily be considered part of a "mortgage finance transaction"
-- instead of the un-eaten part at the start, it's the already-digested part at the end.
