"Thanks, this has been a GREAT thread and VERY HELPFUL."
~J. Doty~

Ms Doty,

If you are still there, might I ask why...

If you are looking for the opinions of professionals....

Have you put some of them on ignore?

These are professional people, and while they might not provide an answer that address your slant on your question, it really can't be a true fact finding mission if you eliminate those that disagree with you.

Maybe I'm just a product of the tolerance that was taught in Public Schools, that having multiple opinions from different backgrounds and filters, makes for ultimately better answers and is one of the things that helped make this a great country.

With your high level in a mega corporation, why would you consider that people who disagree should be silenced?

This is not sounding good to me.

I am also a MRICS (Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors). Yes other countries require history of conveyances.

If you read their posts, you would see they were not well-meaning. Their responses were unprofessional and disrespectful. That's one of the unfortunate drawbacks of the internet. It's open to anyone who wants to act like an idiot.

Oh yes,

We suffer idiots all the time.

Us that are the moped riding, flip flop wearing, bush peeing, parrot toting, purveyors of photos of children's bedrooms whom some, consider potential ****ography, who refuse to pay for background checks or submit to companies that have tying arrangements with background companies...yes, we are all well familiar with the idiots that can buy their way into a privileged position to spout their idiocy to promote their businesses.

However,

Maybe I missed it but, I did not see any harm caused or intended by the posts of some of those professionals that can not now participate in the thread. Nothing that was posted on this forum caused me to consider less of you or your employer.

You might imagine, this is a hard industry to get along in, and even when we are right, we are wrong in someone else's opinion, so it creates many hard feelings and crusty exteriors.

Sorry you can't find value under some crusty exteriors, but the selectiveness is sad. If what matters becomes only the response of the selected few, then I suddenly feel dirty, and wish not to be associated with those that are star struck and pander to the few that they perceive as better than them.

Good luck on your quest for real answers, cause all you're apparently looking for is confirmations.
