Since V.A. has changed to VERO, are appraisal reports still to be up-loaded to LGY/Portal in *.xml format? It appears since 04/22/2020 (+/-) that reports up-loaded in *.xml format are confirmed as successfully received, but in *.pdf format. Also, the cc to the appraiser's email address no longer appears to be automatically sent vis. the e-mail that used to be sent to notify a Requester that a report up-load had been successfully completed and that the report was available. I have seen no information about these topics, beyond Circular 26-20-14 & its Change 1. Thoughts?

CORRECTION: Item 3 of Circular 26-20-14 specifies continued upload of reports in *.xml format. However, among the changes noticed in WebLGY is that , once uploaded, the appraisal report is identified as a *.pdf in both the upload confirmation section and, as previously, in the documents section. The previous "LSAM" notice that subsequently would appear in the upload section no longer appears which is not a surprise since CoreLogic's product no longer is used by the VA. Also, the cc to the appraiser of the email notice to the Requester of the report upload no longer is received. Are other VA appraisers seeing the same or different?

that missing email issue was corrected yesterday. Per notice on LGY website. also fixed the missing repair inspections.

CindyR - thank you for pointing out the V.A.'s corrections ~ much appreciated!

and happy to report it does appear to be fixed. loaded an appraisal this evening and got the email saying it was delivered !! :)

Has anyone seen a VERO Score Report yet? I see the scores of my completed reports in the notes once the NOV is issued but I have yet to see a copy of one. I wonder how similar / dissimilar it is to LSAM

the new program issues different warnings. keep getting asked to explain difference between comp GLA and public records. i have not seen a report or a score but i used to always check the notes after the NOV was issued as they often posted comments and information about the SAR review. i quit checking because they never post anything any more,

See VA Circular 26-20-14 Change 2 5/28/2020, Exhibit A.

1st time today I had an UW send me 3 comps I did not utilize to make a "Deal" work from Vero??????
(2) I had appraised anyway in the past 60-90 days. So, what is up ??? is VA giving out comps to lenders ???
It might be undue influence don't you think...? Disclose this or not ??? Not a happy camper here.

So far (knock on wood) I've had nothing come back for any revisions other than an underwriter who wanted me to match a borrowers name with their Certificate of Eligibility (she got married). Been almost too quiet for the past 30 days. Certainly have not had anyone try to offer up "better" comparable's that what I have used. I thought I made a mistake once, but I was mistaken about making a mistake?

You shouldn't be provided any additional comps to consider after you've uploaded a report - under the new Reconsideration of Value process, appraisers are taken out of the equation.
