Sounds like you and my footprints are side by side in some of these rural counties. lol.Well, all I have to say about that is they will have to leave the fees where they are or allow higher fees for complex appraisals with acreage, Barndominiums, multiple houses, etc. There won't be desktops on unconventional home styles. I've had 2 custom built Barndominiums in the past week, 40 acres and 60 acres, Dale, you can guess which county, lol
We've completed a ton of Barndominiums, shophouses, and other interesting new takes on residential dwellings these days. Most of our peers won't accept those assignments, so they tend to call on my bunch.
The last fee increase by the VA was a long time coming, and they are still C&R in our areas.
BTW Tiff - You really need to come visit - Or we need to do lunch somewhere.
