My guess is they were all playing games and the appraiser missed the truck. I think the price was negotiated as a whole and the thought they had to deal with the second lot outside the transaction so created a second contract that was withheld.Sounds like per the sales contract both lots must be sold together. Are they on the same deed? If they need to be appraised separately, why are they on the same contract with one price?
Where the restriction they need to be sold together arises from is unclear. I am aware of tracts where one can't support a septic system and the DEQ restricts those to be sold with a second, developable lot.
