What are your opinions of this AMC? They drive me crazy with revisions with basic appraisal issues they should solve before it gets to me. I don't have this problem with any other AMC, but it is constant.

BAAAAAD news. I think they keep adding more conditions and stips in order not to pay for the appraisal. Had one like that all the way in freakin' NEEDLES a few years ago!!! duplex, 1/1 each unit. Oversold, upside down, then VP asked for one thing after another after another, including requiring me to go back to freakin' NEEDLES to take a new comp photo. Never did get paid. Cut your losses. If they haven't ripped you off YET, they WILL!

Valuation Partners:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Dropped these clowns YEARS ago, this is what they did to me anyway.

I signed up to get on their appraisal panel, had to jump through ALL kind of hoops with them before they would send over any appraisal assignments, one of the things they had in bold was that they would NOT send you your first appraisal assignment until you filled out a W9 for them, I did everything they asked including the W9, I complete 3-4 assignments for them, I get paid, not very fast, but I get paid.

Then I complete an appraisal assignment for them and it is taking FOREVER to get paid, I go round and round trying to get an actual person on the phone to speak to, I FINALLY get a hold of someone and she tells me that I haven't been paid for the appraisal in question because I didn't fill out a W9 and turn it into them. I pointed out to her that I had and that I had already completed appraisal assignments for them and had been paid.

While I was having this conversation with her I found their requirements they sent me when I initially signed up, she pulled it up on her end, I pointed out the part that stated that the would NOT send you any assignments without first having a W9 from the appraiser, she said, "Oh, I see, I will mail you the check out tomorrow." That was my LAST dealings with them.
