subject only has 1 2x2 vent in hallway for hvac, would this be sufficient taking into consideration br's with closed doors and bath, room count is 6-3-1.0
** Permanent heat source ( YES ) and be done ** Does it meet today's standards probably not so you can make it subject to a HVAC contractor inspecting the system or you can do nothing. Even FHA allows the older systems listed below.
1- Wall heater-No vents in bedrooms or baths - OK
2- Floor heater-No vents in bedrooms or baths -OK
3- Wood or pellet burning stove- No vents in bedrooms or baths -OK
Are you a HVAC specialist? No. Does it affect VALUE? That is the question. I see homes with ZERO hall vents, rely on air flow from the other rooms beck to the return vent.
