View Posts Since Last Visit not working?

For the past couple days, since the "Selected Forums Topics" was added to the opening page, I have gone the the main page and clicked on "View Posts Since Last Visit" and it says that there aren't any new messages since my last visit. This happening to anyone else?

You are correct, although I was not aware of it till just now and I tried it out with my other browser. Since the front page pulls the most recent new topics from the general appraisal forum, when you visit http://appraisersforum.com it counts that as a visit. So when you go to the forums it starts a new session and unless there are new posts from the time you go to the main page till you get to the forums it will not list any new posts.

The solution is to bookmark the forums and each time go directly to them at: http://appraisersforum.com/forums

That is the way most existing users get here anyway. I put the selected topics on the front page to interest new users enough to come to the forums. But existing users usually come in through the "side door"!
