View posts since last visit

I was really enjoying using the 'View posts since last visit' but it's not working for me anymore. This changed about 10 days ago. What can I do to fix it?

Make sure you enter the forums directly at this page:
http:/appraisersforum.com/forums and not the main page at http://appraisersforum.com

Seems the "selected topics" I put on the front page start a session so when you click through to the forum pages it thinks the front page was your last session, then of course there wouldn't be any new posts.

If this is not it, then you or some program you have installed is deleting your cookies regularly.

I am having this 'problem' occur mid session???
it appears to be related to the use of the back button, tho perhaps unrelated.
see 'howcomzit' above.

Any idea what is occurring?
