Virginia's Appraisal Board 8/19/08 Meeting may have national coverage. We are hoping Mitch Weiss will attend and if he cannot make it there, another Associated Press reporter should be.

I hope ALL that can find a way to attend this exceptionally important meeting will be there. I'm looking forward to meeting many more that I haven't met before.

Excellent question, Dan. After scouring their website, I couldn't find anything about a webcast. Does anyone more familiar with the Virginia Board know?

Crimeny.. the agenda had 19 disciplinary actions to start the meeting... that took 3 hours plus.. I had to leave to go to the wonderful part time job.. I MISSED the action.. I am sick about it! Pam, Michelle, Pat.. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat happened?

The Virginia Real Estate Appraiser Board removed the petition regarding electronic portals because the way it was written may have impeded commerce. i concur with that decision. However, the Committee was continued by the Chairwoman. There should be a meeting sometime in September of the Electronic Portal Committee to discuss secure electronic delivery of reports. The Board revoked a license, suspended about 4 licenses for 30 to 60 days. The other complaints were handled with monetary fines and remedial education.
