Was just told to remove "places of worship"

Religious groups use different property types to convene. I've seen them use former furniture stores, regular storefronts, former public schools, warehouses, bank buildings, etc.

"Non-residential property". Let's see Karen-Margaret call that racist.
....don't forget the assembly of like-minded individuals who met in a residential apartment, in Rosemary's Baby!!!!!

Don't miss current use of subject property. How many MV appraisals have you done on a place of worship?
I average two to three per year. I know it goes against what many of you would do, but I generally reduce my typical invoice by 50% for churches and some other non-profits. Most of the church appraisals I work on are typically in smaller communities and have limited membership, usually in the 100 - 200 range.

Not accepting secondary market work insulates me from many of the strips others have to deal with.

Why not describe a church as "a place of affinity assembly that is consistent with applicable zoning". That should cover places of religious assembly, biker clubhouses, service clubs, etc.

1] Hooray for right minded practiioners! 2]Wonder if the invoice can describe the full fee, the discount, and the discounted total in order to use the discount as a tax deduction? 3] Wonder if "Heathens" who might find fault with your spiritual discount were elevated to "protected class" status by the prior administration???

I always show full fee on my invoice and then on the second line explain and show the discount and lastly the balance due, if any.

Have you ever thought of charging twice your fee....
Then donating the money back to the church....
Then claim the donation on your taxes.... :)

Like minded meeting place. Works for churches or hell's angels.
