Weichert Financial/Mortgage Access & HVCC

Anybody have any info on how Mortgage Access Corp / Weichert Financial Services will change their appraisal ordering system when HVCC goes into effect ? As far as I know, they are still allowing the loan officers to specify the appraiser.

If they are still allowing LO's to specify an appraiser than they are not in compliance with HVCC!

It all depends on if Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac will be buying the loans or not.

I don't know how many are using it, but I just started receiving orders from Mortgage Access via Solidifi. So far, so good.

Do you mean that the correct answer is full fee appraisals? If so, I agree!!! I will not do work for any AMC's that take a cut. My business is almost nil at this point, but I'm still standing. I've been picking up the attorney work which should be pretty good as tax appeals start to roll in at the end of the year.
