HELOC - Home Equity Line of Credit or he who elects a line of credit usually ends up with an adjustable 2nd mortgage.
AH - Unhappy Mortgage Broker.
RT - Real Tard - Alison's definition of most Realtors
AMC - Working for cost or less and pretending to like it.
AVM - Low cost or free computer generated VALUATION or ESTIMATE vs. an appraisal opinion but used for the same thing. The appraiser's competition, yet is often advertised as the appraiser's tool.
PMM - Seller financing - Can you ever find out details to adjust for a cash price?
COE - Cash or equivalency. Does anyone really care anymore?
AI - Don't get me started
SRA - The appearance of experience and ethics but can be cliffed with the demo for dummies class or bought in some cases.
MAI - All that and a bag of chips.
FEL - Front End Loan
BEL - Back end loan that sometimes pulls cash out to put down to make the FEL look well within within the LTV.
LTV - How is the loan to value calculated BEFORE the property is valued?

I read a desk review of one of my reports. Reviewer kept on refering to me as RIP, Reporting Independant Appraiser. He named himself the IRA, Independant Review Appraiser. Considering he agreed with the OA, Original Appraisal. We had an IRARIP, which could double as a retirement scam
