What Date Do I Put On The Contract Date?

No, not in Texas. The contract date stays the same as the original (if on a TREC promulgated form). Amendment dates are amendment dates, and do not modify the original contract date. Dates for performance on the TREC promulgated form are keyed as number of days since the contract date. But as IANAL, you could always ask one. Plus, disclose, disclose, disclose in the comments to avoid any confusion.

Better ask a Lawyer if that is what you believe. A change in the contract such as an addenda become a new contract. All the terms and conditions of the original contract may carry over by referrence in the addenda, but it is in effect, a new contract.

That is the way it works in Arizona. And if you think about it it is certainly logical. The original contract date is the buyer's first offer. I just sold a property and no one better try to hold me to the terms of the initial contract. The contract I agreed to includes all the clarifications and counteroffers and I did not agree to the entire and complete contract until the signature date of the very last one.

Certainly the contract changes after you have already issued your appraisal is a whole different kettle of fish but as for the initial contract you analyze for the appraisal, the contract date is the last date of the contractual agreement. The 'meeting of the minds' did not occur until the minds agreed.

Ok, I have a question, I have not been through this much in all my 8 years enough to consider it to be norm and remember what to do. Heres my question, I received a contract with an executed date of contract and an amendment attached to it with a more recent date.........Then during the appraisal process which I am in now, I just received ANOTHER amendment with a more recent date (which is after my inspection date) Which date do I use to fill out the URAR under contract section. The original date? First amended date or the last amended date??
Show all of the dates in your addendum.
